  • As for refreshment, instead, we recommend the Obereggeralm mountain hut in Sorafurcia/Valdaora and restaurant Spaces La Miara in San Vigilio di Marebbe.

… and for your winter holiday is in the Plose area in Val Pusteria, nestled in the Dolomites. It is called the Trametsch. At 9 km in length and at an altitude of 1,400 m, it has rightly earnt the name of “the longest slope in South Tyrol”. Trametsch is said to be the “slope that speaks to you”. Around the Sella Massif …

… spanning as many as 4 passes in the Dolomites! You will no doubt have heard about the “Sellaronda”. It is a great and classic tour, not least because people skied along it long before the ski lifts were installed. At one time, the inhabitants of the valleys around Sella used skis to travel beyond the passes. The Sellaronda ski circuit is one of a kind with wonderful views!

  • Total length of the circuit: 40 km, taking in the 4 famous slopes of the Dolomites: Gardena, Sella, Pordoi and Campolongo.
  • You can start the circuit at Corvara (45 minutes from Hotel Terentnerhof), Canazei, Selva di Val Gardena and Arabba.
  • The Sellaronda is also suitable for less experienced skiers. You should be of average fitness, however, to make the most of it.
  • The circuit can be done either clockwise, following the “orange” signs, or anti-clockwise, following the “green” signs. It is advisable to start the circuit before 10 am and to leave the last pass no later than 3:30 pm, otherwise there is a risk of missing the last lift back down to the starting point.
