Castel Tures
This is one of the most awesomely impressive - some say the most impressive - castle in all Tyrol. The castle was the residence of the Lords of Taufers (1136 to 1336), built as a defensive structure and converted into an extensive fortifield noble residence in the 15th and 16th centuries. It guarded over the entrance from the Taufers valley basin into the Ahrn Valley, once an important trade route. Since 1977 it has belonged to the South Tyrolean Castle Institute. The castle is fully furnished, in excellent condition and contains an interesting collection for furnishing and art ofjects from various epochs.

Donkey farm - hiking with donkeys
The presence of donkeys in "Eselfarm" aims to put in touch new generations with the donkey, an animal which has worked together with local people for generations, helping them to survive and to create development even when streets dedn't cross our territory and there were no machines to carry the wood home and to work the fields durnig the spring season.
