Dolomites – South Tyrol’s most beautiful massif.
The Dolomites are certainly among South Tyrol’s most fascinating areas: a towering array of rocky peaks and breathtaking massifs raising up to 3300 m, over the most pleasant Valleys and landscapes. The most important massifs include the Sella, Marmolada and Sassolungo groups. Many beautiful Valleys like the Val Gardena or Val di Fiemme open up in between, all within easy reach of Terento.

The Siusi Alp with Europe’s largest upland plain is a very special destination. Museums and exhibitions in Cortina or Corvara are favourite destinations alongside the remains of the Santa Cristina Castle (Fischburg) in Val Gardena. The Dolomites are of course a top destination for winter sports practitioners with the “Dolomiti Superski” combining several skiing resorts into a single gigantic winter sports region.
